I came here around 3pm on a Saturday for the 60 cent wings deal. I ordered 5 of the mild and 5 of the mild garlic. They were really delicious. I also ordered the seafood combo shrimp and fish with fries. It was pretty good too but the wings were my favorite. The location isn't very good and there isn't much parking.

Was looking for the best burger and took a poll on Facebook. The consensus was....Brass Ring. The burger was perfectly cooked and delicious, the staff attentive and fast, the bathrooms, well...The bathroom had no working light and the excuse was they had no way to put another light bulb in-they were too busy. Come on! Women were holding the door open a bit to let a little light in. Sorry, no can do. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars. I'd go back, but take care of the little things!

When I moved to the area ~25 years ago, I selected my less than desirable apartment for one reason and one reason only. When my future wife asked why I was living in "this place", I was like "Hello! I can walk home from the Brass Ring!" She understood. We lived happily ever after.

Slowest service I've experienced in my life. Waiting for more than 50 min for my food. Not even a delivery takes all that time.

We showed up to Brass Ring on a whim and were immediately sketched out by the exterior of the building and lack of parking. My husband actually dropped me off so that I could take a peek inside and see if it was worth staying. I'm so so glad I did! The interior is much more friendly and inviting. The front bar was full, as were all of the booths, but we headed to the back area and were able to find a table. I'm not really sure if it's always seat yourself or if we were there early enough for it to be. We had the mozzarella sticks, which were good (is it possible to make bad mozz sticks??). My husband had the hot wings and I had a mild lazy wing sandwich. Both agreed that we really liked their wing sauce! Mine came with fries, which you could tell they were previously frozen (probably with frost bite), but they were edible. Overall, we're happy to find this little hole in the wall, we just wish it were closer so we could stop by more often!

Best burguer I ever eaten. The bar is big enough to do not wait long for a table. I ordered a bacon cheese burger well done and it was perfect! The quantity is good and the people is really nice! The atmosphere is like country music with pool tables. Prices are reasonable. Sure I will come back.

This is a hole in the wall bar best one to go to as far as I'm concerned. I go here with my boyfriend it's like our place our date place. We laugh drink some beer play some pool. And last but not least have the best hot garlic wings you could ever eat. I would go here every time I want to have a chill relaxing night.

I'm thinking I'm the minority here, because I just wasn't blown away by this place. Lived in NPB for many years, and finally made it here for lunch. Perhaps that was the problem, I had to return to work after the meal, and let's face it, that is never the way to end a nice meal. Burger was ok, but fries were meh. I'm a huge fan of crispy fries, because mushy potatoes are just not very appetizing. If you can't make them crispy, I'd rather they weren't in my plate. It's a make or break it kinda thing for me.

This place is a classic dive bar with a tiny kitchen that turns out tasty burgers and solid wings. Wait, classic dive bars don't turn out food. But if they did, and this place does, it would be awesome right? Burgers aren't fancy brioche bunned affairs, they are a supermarket bunned, better meat than you might imagine, with decent fries and your choice of a couple options kinda burgers. Messy, beefy, cheesy, the spicy burger is delish. Two pool tables in the back, lots of televisions. What more do you need?

  • Tracy R.

Really good burgers, they have it down to a science. Small so come hungry and be patient, worth the wait.

  • Nicole W.

Ordered a burger for pick up. Came to get it after about 15 mins and waited 30 more minutes after that! After watching the manager drink a beer behind the bar I finally got my food and the nightmare was far from over. The "medium" burger was RAW and had none of the toppings that were ordered. Didn't know it was possible but my fries were raw too... I really wanted to like this place, maybe they should change their name to the raw bar.

Sorry, peeps - I have had better burgers come out of my 10 dollar grill than this place! Wings are ok, Duffy's is better

  • Candice L.

Wings are good but way too buttery. Took forever to get a table. The wrong wings came out and we had to send them back. Service was either good,,okay or non-existent. Smoked fish dip was delicious! Prices are reasonable. I found the atmosphere to be slightly boring and a bit uncomfortable. May go back at some point.

I went here after a dive and had the best burger I think I have ever had. That's saying something! I would love to go back!

Have lived in NPB for almost 10 years, and we have been coming fairly regularly for that entire time. Their hamburgers are among the best I've ever had -- they've been doing it long before the "gourmet burger" movement came and went -- just old school, nothing fancy. Their wings are I.D.'ed on the menu as "award winning", and I must admit that they are quite good -- again, old school; mild, medium, or hot. Their draft brew selection is pretty basic, sticking with your sports bar mainstays like Bud, Miller, and Michelob. In recent years, they've added a couple of imports to their line up -- Stella, Newcastle, and Guinness -- but micro/craft brews are still sorely lacking (Sam Adams and Yuengling don't really fill the void, but will do in a pinch). There's TV's all around, so it's a great spot on game day, but get there early -- squatters hang on to their booths forever, so you'll stand by the door for an hour (or two) if you wait too long to come out. There's a pretty well worn pool table in the back that I'm quite sure is not level, but I don't really play well enough for that to matter. Service is usually pretty fair, if you take into account how busy they are during your visit. I've had great servers here, and I've had some lousy ones, too. Unfortunately, my most recent experience associated with my check in from yesterday was pretty poor. Waitress took our drink orders, brought them to the table and took our food orders, and we never saw her again. Runners brought the food out to us when it was ready, but I had to track down both ketchup and silverware for my wife on my own. Our pints were empty early on into the meal, but she never came back around to see if we were enjoying the food, either, so of course, we never got another drink. Frustrated, I had to get up and find her in the front of the restaurant to ask her for our check. I made it a point to ask "Are we not in your section today?", and she half-heartedly apologized. When she delivered the check to the table, she basically snuck it onto the corner of the table on a pass through the kitchen/bar area, and AGAIN, I had to flag her down 10 minutes later just to get her to take my credit card and run it! They were busy -- the Marlins were playing the Nationals -- but I wouldn't have said she looked "in the weeds". She just chose to focus on the run of booths along the bar, and totally ignore us at our table by the cooler. If I had any change in my pocket, that's all I would have left her as a tip on $35. Today, I left a single picture of George Washington on top of my check. Like I said before, service here is usually pretty good, and the pub grub is always tasty, so I'm not going to condemn this place and never return because of one bad visit out of at least 40 over the last 10 years. I hope it's just the aberration I'm labeling it as here, and next time they (or she) redeem themselves.

Hole in the wall type bar..outstanding wings and burgers...wings are old school style and nice and crispy! Pitchers of beer come with bags of ice in them (south Florida tradition)

    (5)
  • Jon V.

Another awesome sandwich. Cordon blue with bacon and mushrooms. Always ask for extra crispy fries!

  • Leslie T.

I was in the area for a quick business trip and Yelp turned me on to this little gem. I had a spicy blue cheese burger and it was delicious. The beer was cold and tasty. I love a pub atmosphere and I wasn't disappointed. I met some nice people there too. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

I went to try this place today and honestly it's my new favorite spot for burgers, wings and beer.. And everything else. Service is not extremely quick but I forgive them for that. Waiters are constantly bringing you ice cold mugs and making sure you're not getting thirsty. I love this place

  • T. A.

I have to order to go most of the time it's a line a mile long to wait for a table. Place is very small and to find a parking spot is terrible! Have to park somewhere else and walk. And to add insult to injury one of the waitresses a skinny girl with dark long hair & glasses is extremely rude! Every single time I come there she never says a word to me but then speaks to people behind me or in front of me I even complained to another waitress how extremely uncomfortable I feel every time I go there. I won't be going back there again I'll get my wings somewhere else.

Used to be one of my faves growing up and still is. Best burgers in town, no joke. Awesome wings and the beer is THE COLDEST. Great service. Never disappointed at the Ring.

great dive bar. came in on a Monday night for a beer with my family on vacation after having dinner at another restaurant. Super casual place, friendly people, cheap, cold beer and good wings -all you could want from a good dive bar

I took my father to the VA hospital. After he got out, he wanted to go to lunch so I pulled out yelp to find a highly rated place in the area. The Brass Ring Pub was his choice. I do not remember everything we ordered but my father still raves about the burger he had. He claims it was the best burger he ever had. And as we know "Father Knows Best"

    (5)
  • Corey H.

The burgers are the best. The service is the worst. It's like eating the most delicious burger you've ever had in a concentration camp. Nobody will acknowledge your existence when you walk in the door. Go if you are hungry and don't mind being treated like a prisoner

    (3)
  • David S.

Burgers Burgers and Beer. Just go eat, drink and enjoy. It's a bar with great food, neighborhood feel. It's a must stop if you're in the area.

    (5)
  • Llyn B.

The Ring is one of my burger bench mark places. All other burgers are compared to here. It's a type of burger for sure. Hand packed cooked to order. My wife and I get the same thing every time. Bacon Cheese burger with mayo and all the fix in's and fries. Also an order of hot honey garlic wings extra crispy. F'ing dope. Beer is always cold, service is always good with no frills. Don't be mistaken this is a locals bar filled with local contractors, sport fish guys and occasional millionaire (yes this is North Palm Beach) that are all coming for the same thing. Ice cold beer, burgers and wings. If you want a fish sandwich or a cloth napkin go elsewhere. My only issue and really it's not an issue is the zip lock bag of ice that is in every pitcher in the pursuit of the perpetual cold beer. It will never stop me from ordering a pitcher just a personal pet peeve. One last thing on the wings, for years we were doing the hot wings and while good they were never my favorite. Then a friend asked me if I ever tried the hot honey garlic, next time in I ordered and saw the freaking light. I haven't ordered a hot wing since. All the wings are heavy on sauce which is why we order them extra crispy. Preference thing.

Love the burgers! I can't say anything bad it's bar with the best burgers in town! The staff is friendly and they have penalty of beers to choose from.

    (5)
  • Brian J.

Probably the best burger in the palm beach area. Certainly the coldest beer. Often hard to get a table or even a seat at the bar. But, you must try this spot. Wings here are also well regarded.

  • Shannon B.

Excellent beer, burgers and wings. Fun atmosphere with pool tables, music and the infamous actual brass ring, ring toss game!

  • Brian S.

Cold beer, hot wings and delicious burgers! I'm sure everything else tastes great as well.

    (5)
  • German B.

Lets make it clear... it's a bar! but a bar but very good grill food; burgers, fries, wings, erc. Of course you must ask for the burger (real grill flavor on it) but give it a try to the crab and cheese poppers for appetizers. Very very good

    (4)
  • Caroline L.

Great place to come for an ice cold beer and delicious burger...but I wouldn't use the bathroom. Come here for the food - not the ambiance. Servers switch out your beer mug every few minutes to keep it frosty - such a nice touch!

    (5)
  • Lauren S.

Beat cheese burger and cheese fries you can find! Their ranch dressing is amazing too! Cold beer and good food!

    (5)
  • Jonathan F.

This is the type of dive bar that gives the term a good name. The atmosphere is classic early 80's wood paneled, hardwood bench tables and booths. Nice long bar with decent selection of brews on tap. No liquor is served here but they keep ice cold mugs on your table so the beer is always the coldest. Food-wise they do really well. I have been going for almost 20 years to this place and they still make their burgers the same way. Delicious beef patties with some ground pork inside. Fresh, never frozen. You feel like each burger was made just for you. The other foods are good too; delicious wings, buffalo chicken sandwich and jalapeno poppers are some of my favorites. Some people say the service is bad, but everyone is super nice. The staff is trained to leave you alone so you can enjoy the game on TV or the company you come with. You wave your hand and they come running. People think every restaurant needs to have super attentive staff. These are real people with real personalities. When they ask if you need anything else and you say no, they leave you alone. All in all, this place is wonderful.

  • John F.

Really 2.5 stars. The burgers are good, not great. They definitely don't live up to the hype, but burger places like this rarely do. The bar/restaurant is an absolute hole-in-the wall, divey type of establishment. Random junk/writing all over the place. I'm not saying it's dirty, because it isn't. It's just not the type of place you would expect to find in the Jupiter/Palm Beach area. Again, the burgers might be the best in the area, but they don't even make my top 15 burger list (not an actual list, just my informal recollection). The beef was a little bland, but not super greasy. I wasn't impressed by the size of the burger. The fries were mediocre, but the wings were really tasty. We ordered some Coors Light which, as they said, was delivered super cold. Our server was really nice and competent. Big plus: it's incredibly cheap. We four pigged out and drank pitchers of beer for like $50.00. I'll be back.

  • Tim F.

I've been going to The Brass Ring for years. And I'm never disappointed when I'm in the mood for cheap beer, greasy buffalo flavored food, and some pool. Their wings, chicken tenders, and burgers are perfect to help absorb the beer you're almost guaranteed to drink too much of! A true great among the "dive bar" competition.

    (4)
  • Janene H.

This place is everything a dive burger joint should be! When you walk in you have to let your eyes adjust because it is so dark. The wood paneling along the walls is covered in graffiti. There are beer lights, pool tables, a dart board and a few electronic games. I peeked in at first to see if the place was kid-friendly (it was 5pm on a Friday) and was happy to see it was. They have high-chairs, a kid's menu and even family board games for loan. This is definitely a come-as-you-are type of place. The pitchers are cheap- $5 for Ying Ling which included the first pour. And fresh FROSTY MUGS were brought before we could finish our current beer. Great! The burgers were huge and cooked well. The hand formed patties could have used a tad more seasoning and the use of fresh mushrooms (vs. canned) would be a big improvement. Overall a great place that I'd be happy to revisit!

Good local place, pool, wings, well-trained staff. No smoking inside and nowhere convenient to smoke outside.

  • Zlata F.

I gotta tell you - for Dive Bars, this place really is amazing! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, as are the patrons. They have some very delicious wings and other bar food, lots of TVs to catch the game, and even a billiards table to shoot some pool. Definitely a great place to catch a game and hang with friends over some beers if you're looking to save some cash!

  • Matt C.

Super friendly staff. Excellent Happy hour specials. I love the burgers, wings, & ceasar salad with Mahi Mahi on top. The only down side is that they are usually very busy but get over that & prepare to enjoy some yummy good times :)

    (5)
  • Patrick L.

Low key bar with good burgers at reasonable price. TVs all around. Very local joint but welcoming and friendly. Yes, there is a brass ring to play which is uber fun if you've never played. Basic beers on tap - with the ubiquitous yuengling getting top billing. Plenty of parking. Great place to hit after a dive or day at the beach.

    (3)
  • Tytus G.

Best wings arround. $1 pool games, touchtunes jukebox, sunday is $5 for 10 wings and $5 pitchers. a properely divey local pub.

Perhaps my favorite place in Palm Beach County. Yes it is a dive, but that's what I enjoy. Great food, great staff, cold beer and priced about as reasonable as it gets.

  • Lori H.

Went for the first time with a group of friends and family and had a great time. We had a wonderful waitress that kept the frozen beer mugs coming for our pitchers of beer. The food was very good and they had something for everyone. We will definitely make this our stop whenever we are in the area. Thanks to the staff for such a fun evening! See you soon

Good to know some things never change. Stopped by The Brass Ring the other day...first time since moving back to the area, and WOW!! I had forgotten a burger could be that good. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It was packed on a late Sunday afternooon and it took a while to score the burgers, but it was WELL WORTH IT. They were cooked perfectly, which shouldn't be such a rare occurence at burger places, but it is. Amazing amazing amazing. My only gripe, we came from the north and took us1 the whole way. Saw about 4 cops in that NPB speed trap area...like I said, some things never change.

Yum! Had the Spicy blue cheese burger cooked medium well and it came out perfect! Only complaint was the fries. They were just okay and needed some salt. I'll definitely come back.

The Brass Ring is the epitome of a real Florida Bar. It's located on the east side of US Hwy 1, in North Palm Beach, a couple of blocks south of Northlake Boulevard in a bright yellow and blue building. Parking is hard to find during lunchtime, so plan to eat around 11:30, the same goes for Friday nights after work, get there early. There is some parking in the back which has an alley access. Do not park in the adjacent shopping plaza, or your car will be towed. The interior of TBR is dark and has old fashioned wooded booths, pool tables, bar, flat screen TVs and a great jute-box. Loads of guys with long hair, black t-shirts from concerts long ago, women with cutoffs & tube tops. No kids in sight. This is my kind of place to escape for some fun and not have a care in the world how I look that day. The food is great. They make the best hamburgers and wings that you will find anywhere. Good sweet tea...you're in the South dammit. Cold beers on tap and bottled beer served in frosted mugs. You can sit at the bar and watch whatever the sports event happens to be on that day and someone will engage you in conversation. You will feel welcome here! The bartenders and wait staff are good and efficient. The prices are good to start with, but considering the amount of food that you receive, makes it a good value too. The hotter it is outside, the more that you will appreciate being in the Brass Ring. Do not go there if you are expecting white linen service or if you can't get a sitter for the kids...this ain't McDonald's....it's a bar so respect the atmosphere or get food to go. The restrooms are like what you would see in a truck stop. So what? It's not as though you are going to spend a lot of time there anyway, so don't worry about it. There is the usual bar talk from those that like to discuss sports and politics. The language can get a little bit rough, but the intentions are good natured. My only complaint about The Brass Ring is that it is not closer to where I live. They do have another location in Royal Palm Beach, but that does not help me either. Go and visit the Brass Ring when you're ready for some fun and laughs. Get a cab if you intend to stay for a while. Yeah, cab rides cost money, but it is much safer and the responsible thing to do. The Brass Ring isn't for everyone, which is too bad because this is where a lot of good times begin.

Dive bar that has the coldest beer. They keep giving you new cold mugs as you drink your pitcher. Local place that has a great mushroom burger.

    (4)
  • Curt K.

Great hole in the wall sports bar / restaurant - they don't do much, but what they do they do well - cold beer (10ozers), open flame burgers and Buffalo wings. Don't expect to be coddled here - busy busy and a little bit of "soup nazi" going on here - but if you come regularly enough, you might get a smile - no wifi, but they do have a juke box - 5 stars for being what they say they are - a great dive sports bar, nothing more nothing less

  • Harry S.

Don't let the looks of this place fool you ... The wings and burgers are outstanding just went there with a large group and all of us enjoyed the food with great service prices are good ...don't forget to order the upside down pineapple cake served piping hot

  • Michael F.

This is by far the place to go for the best burger in Florida!

    (5)
  • Mike S. ..

Ice draft cold beer, good burgers but the onions gave me a stomach ache. Happy hour starts at 3pm. The wait staff is great but this place is a dive. I wouldnt let my Dog use the bathrooms theyre so disgusting. The wings are good too but DONT try the hot roast beef w/ swiss. They throw it in the microwave so it comes out grey and smelling like a wet dog. 3 Pool tables in back are fun the juke box is kind of obnoxious but it does have a good selection of music.

    (2)
  • Corey E.

I really don't see how people can say this place has the best burgers. There is simply nothing special about them. Canned mushrooms on the mushroom burger, fries that taste like the oil is the same they fry the fish in and has not been changed in years. I dare anyone to get a burger and taste the meat without anything on it.

    (1)
  • Cliff O.

Pretty much what I'd expect from the outside. A dive in the classic sense. Was told they had the best burgers in town, so I tried one. It was acceptable, but nothing particularly special. A decent option, but not worth going out of your way to try.

    (3)
  • Meredith R.

Hands down! BEST BURGERS, WINGS & COLDEST BEER. hole in the wall bar with no windows. Gets a big mix of people.

Love this place. Def a dive bar but family friendly Burgers are great, pitchers are cheap and 3 pool tables = me being a regular.

    (4)
  • Nic B.

Dive Bar Heaven. My sister took me here because she knows I like the following: not wearing makeup, sporting workout clothes without the intention of going to the gym, wings, darts, and board games. I also like it when it's encouraged to write things on the furniture and walls. That's my kind of classy establishment. Seriously, I like this place.

The Brass Ring is what makes my trip to S. Florida complete. Everything is great. It is a dive but my kids love going just as much as my wife and I. If you are looking for your new hang out, this is it. I will be back for the coldest beer and wings and burgers and sandwiches.

    (5)
  • David B.

Good hamburgers large selection of beers the fries are not too great.. Service was excellent

    (3)
  • Kristen R.

Food is excellent!! Best hot wings around! It's a small dive bar with writing all over the walls. Pool tables, claw machine & board games so I guess that's what makes it kid friendly? I personally would not bring my kid in here as there are illustrations of cock and balls on the wall etc. Service is a little slow but worth the wait!! Beer is cold and they are quick to refill your pitcher :)

this is a delicious dive. such a dive that i drove by it for a year because i was not sure what i would find on the inside. (a bit scuuured). but when you walk in you instantly say, whoa, why didn't come here sooner? then you have the food and say it again. truly the coldest beer - and one of the best burgers i have ever had. affordable and delicious. hit all the spots.

Correct me if I`m wrong (but) a Great Burger Joint that serves "frozen" crinkle cut French Fries? Burger`s are pretty damn good, (but) Hand Cut French Fries made from (fresh) Potato`s are a MUST....period! Once you`ve had the "real deal" at 5 Guys, Charm City Burger in Deerfield Beach or BurgerFI in Delray Beach, you`ll never eat another commercial frozen French Fry again. Sorry......

  • Rob B.

Yes, burger is awesome, they cook it like you want it! Hard to find that with today"s food police. It"s juicy and simple. Bread could be better, fresher. They say gruff service, our server was a peach! Wings great and beer is cold but the cheater mugs only give you about 1/2 a draft. Wings crispy, wet and messy. All good, can be busy and it takes time to make a good burger.

    (4)
  • Martin L.

My wife and I have heard about this place for some time. We were told that it is a "joint" with amazing burgers. We finally decided to try it and our friends were right on. It is a bar with a bunch of tables and a few pool tables thrown in for good measure. We both got burgers and they were absolutely delicious, the best that we have had in Florida and maybe the best ever! The fries were crisp and delicious and the coleslaw was yummy. I have no idea how the other food is but the fried chicken being delivered to the next table looked great. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a burger. You will be glad that you did.

We were only in West Palm Beach for a week, never having been before. Not having any idea of the area or where to go, we consulted Yelp and once again y'all came through. Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. But what makes this place outstanding is more than the food, but the ab-so-utely coldest beer around (thanks to frosty mugs and ice bags in pitchers). Combine all that with a great atmosphere (if you life divey/pub/sports/hangout joints. And I do.) and a nice staff and the Brass Ring is all aces. Stop here if you're around.

Still a dive, still the best burger in Palm Beach County!!! Love this place!

Brought the kids here on a weekday afternoon for the area's best burger. We weren't disappointed with the burger, fries or chicken strips. Burger was cooked to order and lived up to its reputation. Beer was ice cold as well as its mug. Waitress was a little grouchy, but she warmed up to us as our compliments increased. Not too friendly with any questions either. Definitely a locals type of place. Don't let the dark atmosphere fool you. Weekday afternoons would be fine for a family. I'll return here on my next trip to this area.

GREAT burgers, cold beer! Chicken wings are really good too. Hot crispy crinkle fries are a plus. Dive bar but who cares if you want a cooked to order meaty delicious burger. They aren't joking about the 1/2 lb. And the wings arent puny either. You might have to wait but it's def worth it. Besides, theres lots to entertain you while you wait for that mouthwatering piece of cheeseburger paradise. Dad, bro, and I visited while vacationing and we loved the food and the place. Don't pass this place up, 2 locals recommended it and now we do!! Check out their specials and happy hour too!

Best burger anywhere. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow but it's fine because the wait is worth it. You shave to get the wings and their cheeseburger with lettuce onion tomato and a whole pickle on the side.

If you like a great burger, frosty mugs of beer and a good old fashioned bar with locals then you'll love the Brass Ring. If you want pomp and circumstance than look elsewhere. Don't forget to bring your appetite, some quarters for the jukebox, and something to engrave your name on the booths with. If you have an old license plate they'll probably take it off your hands as well. The Brass Ring earns all of their four stars. Tell them Julian and Shannon from LOCAL NA8ion sent you. Maybe they'll laugh but maybe they'll give you a free beer.

I've always driven by this place and thought "Wow what a hole in the wall" so I would always keep on my path and drive on by. Chris picked me up from work the other night and wanted to eat and I felt like having a drink so he suggested the Brass Ring. When we went in it looked alot like what I would think a boys high school bathroom would look like. There's writing on all the walls, the booths, everywhere. The mix of people ranged from the old guys that you know have been drinking beer there since the place opened, to girls wearing Juicy couture knee high socks and their boyfriends with popped collars and then there was the couple sitting next to our booth that I couldn't stop starring at because he had one of the coolest Mohawks and tattoos on the shaved part of his head. After seeing how packed it was and how many different people came out to try the place I figured that the food must be good. They claim to have the best burgers around but I was being tempted to try the .35 cent wings so Chris tried a burger for me and all I must say is Oh my goodness. For a small rinky dink bar the food was awesome!!! The beer was in some of the coldest mugs I've ever seen!! The only draw back is that there's no liquor:( All in all, check it out cause this place proves that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Burger is everything I heard it would be. The dive bar atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. 2 beers and 2 burgers for about $20.

The burgers aren't good enough to ignore the horrendous service. We went several weeks ago and our waitress made us feel like we stepped into a bad episode of "Alice" without the "kiss my grits". In restaurants the food can't stand on it's own without good service. Time to either pass out the Zoloft at staff meetings or look for some new blood...I DEFINITELY WON'T BE BACK!

I have been going to the brass ring for wings and burgers since I was a kid! There are som other pleasant surprises on the menu a well. Try the lazy wing sandwich or the smoked sausage. I didn't discover the wonders of their frosted mugs and great beer deals until I became of age... But that only added to the appeal of the ring! Be warned that here are limited tables and it is packed by 7 almost every day of the week. Get there early if you don't like to wait.

I have been ordering take out burgers and sandwichs from Brass Ring for several years now. Yesterday I did the typical Sunday night thing and called in an order for a bacon cheeseburger - cooked medium with just onion and lettuce, a cold ham and swiss cheese on rye and order of onion rings. The woman answering the phone said 25 minutes. I arrived and the Brass Ring was packed. After waiting to speak with someone about my order I was told it would be ready in "Three minutes." I paid the $23.25 for the order and waited. Some 20 minutes beyond the orignial three minutes the order was ready. When I arrived home and opened up the containers with food - undercooked cheeseburger, no bacon, swimming in mayonaise and mustard, a ham sandwich so soggy from wet lettuce on wheat bread and no cheese. This is the third and final time I wll allow Brass Ring to get the order wrong. I call, kindly explain the situation and ask if I can bring the food back, with the original receipt and if they will remake it correctly and as ordered. "Yes, but you will have to bring it in, let us see the food and then we will make the order." I asked if I could talk to the manager and the woman kindly replied "That is our policy." Brass Ring perhaps has gotten to busy and popular to deliver the great burgers and sandwichs they have over the years. Perhaps to many new customers have discovered this tucked away secret in North Palm Beach. Sadly, I think that at the peril of loosing "The tenured, loyal customers" they have advanced to some different level. Oh how I miss the past. Unfortunately, it is tough to continue to patronize a business that can no longer deliver on what they built for me to expect. Cheers!

Thoroughly enjoyed this bar. The vibe was great, and we immediately felt at home! You know you are in a good place when you open the door and you hear the jukebox and survey the bar before you. The chicken wings were to die for. Didn't really care for the burgers nor the atitude of the server. The beer was indeed good and cold. Would definitely be back again!!!

Rating is based on beer and service only. $5 for a real glass pitcher of beer is an incredible price. Also as soon as you frosty mug becomes unfrosty they give you a new one. I think I went through 7 mugs. Brass Ring you are my new favorite bar, too bad your 2000 miles from home.

Awesome burger, great beer, efficient service make the Brass Ring the perfect stop. Great for lunch or having some fun after work. Pick out some tunes on the jukebox and shoot some pool while you have a couple more beers after having one of the best burgers around.

4.5 Stars from me. Definitely the BEST burger in Palm Beach County and arguably all of south Florida. The beer is always ICE COLD. In fact, I have never had colder beer anywhere! The only negative is their service. The wait staff is not very nice at all and firmly believe they can do no wrong, even when they forget to put the order in (ah-hem!). The seats in the back suck too!

The beer is cold so was the service. I felt like I was at my ex-wifes for lunch. Burgers are so-so since they changed meat providers. If I go back I'll have to be drunk and lost. Not a good choice with so many places to go.

The BEST burgers in town, in this reviewer's opinion. Funky, fun, and always busy environment, with fast service, cold beer, bottomless iced tea and the kind of 1/3 lb. burgers that make you drive 10 miles to get one just to let them drip their juice down your arms. Once a week visits with coworkers for lunch is the norm for me at the Brass Ring.

Yikes....for sure the "BEST" burger I have ever had. It is a total whole in the wall kinda place. Don't let that stop you from going in....truly amazing food. The wait staff is NOT friendly..but with a burger that yummy....who cares!

Interesting place. Very good burgers and wings and friendly service. Don't be put off by appearences: the place looks like a dump from the outside and inside looks like a sleazy bar in NYC or Chicago. Parking is limited, so go early.

This restaurant is my Graceland! If you are looking for the best wings and burgers in town then this is where you want to be! I came across this hole in the wall (and i say that in the nicest, most flattering way possible) three years ago and was instantly taken by it. The wooden walls and booths with writing of past patrons all over them reminded me of my camp days and that couldn't make me happier. The beer is always ice cold due to bags of ice they keep floating in them yet this is not why i frequent. This is where i go to watch Eagles football and try to eat away a bad hangover...what can i say, it works:)

Best Burger and Fries joint for miles around, and don't forget their cold beer! This is the place the locals would really prefer you DIDN'T know about. It is unbelievable. You really could drive past and think it is a 1950's 3 room hotel. But if you dare to pop inside, you will be greatly rewarded! The burgers here are phenomenal, hand-made to perfection and cooked even better. And the fries ..... those delightful crinkle-cut varieties that are perfectly golden brown on the outside, and white and fluffy on the inside. It's amazing! And the service is very good to boot. Anytime you go to a bar and the servers aren't 16 years old you know there might be something worth sticking around for. The servers have all been here a while, and they do a great job. And they keep bringing ice frosted mugs for your beer, even though the pitchers have a bag of ice in it anyway! People will know you if you visit more than 2 or 3 times! And you might well want to after your first visit! Do yourself a favor, and visit the Brass Ring! Just make sure if you visit while I'm there, please give up your bar seat so I can sit and enjoy the night while you wait for your table!

I've been to the Brass Ring a handful of times, but I always order the same exact thing: a cheeseburger and beer! I guess that speaks to the level of enjoyment I get from that particular menu selection. The burgers are good, and meaty, this is no Micky-D's patty-ette. This is a big honking burger, I usually split mine with my significant other. The first time I went there, I ordered my burger med-rare, but it came out raw. They threw it back on the grill for me, no problem, and I was satisfied. Since then, I always order them med, and get them cooked just right. The beer is super cold, a serious source of pride for the Brass Ring staff. They frost the heck out of the mugs, then put baggies of ice in the pitchers...and it's about time someone did! Florida is too freaking hot on its own not to have super cold beer! The fries are good (wish they didn't upcharge $1 to get fries, I think that's a little tacky, burgers should COME with fries). I usually eat mine with ranch dressing, and the ranch here is clearly from a bottle, not made in house how I prefer it...but I still like it better than ketchup. Pros: Yummy burgers, COLD beer, no pretensions, casual come-all environment Cons: Can get really crowded, bathrooms a little less than nice (don't sit near them, you'll get more aroma than you bargained for), bottled ranch dressing rather than fresh. Overall: My favorite burger joint around...hmm, now I'm hungry.

If you like burgers and have not made it to the Brass Ring, you are seriously missing out. These burgers are so juicy and delicious, especially if you order them rare or medium rare, as a buger should be in my opinion. They come with mayo already on them (unless you request not to have it), which only further enhances the burgers' taste. I am very fond of their wings as well. I've been there over a dozen times and have never eaten anything but those two items, and of course the sides of chips or fries that come with the burgers. As for atmosphere, it is a pub/bar, with pool tables in the back and relatively loud music. The crowd, however, is very eclectic, with older couples, families with kids, teenagers, etc. I have noticed police people eating there for lunch quite a few times. They also have televisions that broadcast the sporting event(s) du jour.

Npb staple since I was a kid. The best burger and wings in north county. Cheap beer and really friendly owners/staff Not too many tables so be prepared to wait. It's worth it

It's the kind of place where your shoe would stick to the floor. If you are not afraid of the dark and like grungy bar food, this is the place. The Brass Ring is the definition of a dive. Parking can be challenging. The hostess "station" is at the bar. There is no waiting area, just stand by the entrance and wait. It can get packed but the wait is not bad. Service is fast and friendly enough. There are pool tables and other bar games in the back. The walls are covered with...anything...license plates, stickers, handwritten "was-heres", wood planks, and so on. We were seated in a spacious booth fit for 6 next to the entrance. Our menu was sticky and wrinkled on the edges. I do not overthink the layers of gunk that would have led to its page-sticking texture. We order the same thing every time-- Cheeseburger with American Cheese at medium rare and 10 Mild Chicken Wings. The burger was juicy, bun could have been toasted. Tip: the burger does not come with fries but it does come with Ruffle potato chips. Fries are a la carte. The wings were over sauced, drenching the paper on the red plastic basket/plate. Fortunately the sauce makes the wings, tangy and buttery. Their sauce has more of a spicier bite so mild can be the way to go for most. The wings could have been crispier. They serve their non-alcoholic beverages in extra large plastic cups to alleviate refilling visits. Quite smart actually. My cup was exceptionally slippery during this visit. Soap? Grease? Not sure but I continue to imbibe avoiding an accident by wrapping one of their many readily available paper napkins around the cup. When I crave a good burger and wing combo, this place comes to mind first.

Brass Ring Pub is definitely divey, but divey in a good way. Stopped in here while I was visiting South Florida last month for a late lunch. Their prices are certainly reasonable: $2 buys a beer in a pre-cooled mug. Doesn't get much better than that! I really enjoyed the buffalo tenders that I ordered. Nom nom nom. Even in the middle of the afternoon the parking lot was pretty full, leading me to believe it is a favorite with the local, boating community.

I stopped here 4 times on my recent stay in Palm Beach because the people were so accommodating. Great cold beer, very cold and and affordable. Great beer also. And, Tony the owner is great. If I lived here, I would be a regular.
